Welcome Back Explorer Families,
It is hard to believe that the new school year is here, but it is! We welcome the 2021-2022 school year with optimism and excitement. We are thrilled to have our students return back for face to face instruction. I want to acknowledge that there will be some students and families with anxiety about returning back to school. We will do our best to keep all our students and community safe. If you have any questions, need information about practices and protocols, or have the need to speak with administration, please do not hesitate to contact me and I will be happy to assist you!
Thank you for choosing our school for your child's education and for your continued patience during this ever-fluid time. We would like to extend a special welcome to all of the new families joining Escalante this year and welcome back all of our returning families as well! Our goal at Escalante is to work together to provide our students with a rich learning environment. Our vision is to ALWAYS put kids first! Our belief is that all students can learn. As educators, we need to discover how each child learns in order to differentiate our instruction to support diverse learning styles. In a collaborative effort, we want children to thrive in all ways possible. Our hope is that all children will LOVE school and nurture a learning environment that is positive, safe, warm, caring, as well as a fun place to learn and grow.
Student success is attributed to the partnership and the relationships we build within our community and this is MOST important now more than ever. It truly does take a village and at Escalante we value teamwork and collaboration! Education is a joint venture and Team Escalante greatly appreciates the support you provide for your children at home and at school to help them meet their learning goals
