Celebrations: Math Night

We had such a great night building our community of mathematicians this week! We saw so many students practicing essential skills while having fun. We were also able to send home 15 STEM kits to students who attended.

Attendance: November Attendance Challenge

We're upping the ante for our November challenge. We only need to beat 92% this month, but if we can meet 94% daily attendance students will be able to choose colors for Ms. Mansfield and Ms. Janssen to dye their hair! We only need 6 more students at school every day to help us reach our goal in November. Please do everything you can to help your students get to school!

This week's percentage: 90.64%
This is a 1.3% decrease from our October average. Let's pull together to reach our goals.

Literacy Corner: Champion Readers

And we're off! Escalante students have read 119,584 minutes so far!

As a school we're reading about 20,000 minutes a week! Those minutes add up and make a huge impact on the outcomes of our students.

Students can log minutes they read at school at home, or with an adult. By logging minutes, students earn prizes including the opportunity to win a bike or a $1000 college scholarship!

As a part of our Champion Schools program, students can log their reading minutes to earn prizes for themselves, their class, and our school! Students can log minutes through their Clever app. You can help students record their minutes be using this website.
